What to Expect

What to Expect

If you visit you will not be expected to do anything that will make you feel uncomfortable or conspicuous. Our services are straightforward and last between 60 and 90 minutes. They typically include congregational singing, prayer led by church members, reading from the Bible, and a sermon that explains and applies the Bible reading.

Sunday Morning Service – 11:00

This service is primarily for the benefit of Christians although all are welcome. Early in the service there is a talk given specifically to children after which they may leave for Children’s Church (Bible lesson, crafts, and activities for age 3 to primary school Year 7). After the initial worship service there is an interlude, allowing people to leave if necessary, followed by a communion service. A creche is provided for babies and toddlers.

Sunday Evening Service – 18:30

This service is primarily for the benefit of those who are not followers of Jesus. Participating in congregational singing, reading from the Bible, and listening to a sermon may be things you have never done or rarely done. Don’t worry, you are welcome to observe and ask questions to church members after the service.
